Dragsters
We have custom painted over 40 dragsters in the past years. I can design a paint sceme, or use one from a professional designer. The cars must be bare aluminum or already a single color before we get them. We need the entire car, not just the panels. Over the years we found out that the graphics line up better when the panels are put on the car for layout, especially with slip-joint cars because of flex. The chasis is wrapped in plastic like a cacoon, the panels go in base color, then they are put on for the layout and colors. Then they are taken back off for clear coat, sanding and buffing. There is normally over 120 hours in paint work for multi color jobs like these.
